"Black Ice" is now 15. Studio album of the band and the first longplayer with new songs since "Stiff Upper Lip", which took one on the German album charts in early 2000. At the same time, the Australian rock legends celebrate their debut at the sony / BMG label Columbia. "Black Ice" was directed by star producer Brendan O'Brien (Rage Against the Machine, Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Incubus Uva) in the Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. The songs were mixed by the Canadian Juno Aaward Prize winner Mike Fraser, who, in addition to numerous AC/DC master plants, also crucial on albums from Aerosmith, Dio, Biffy Clyro, Mötley Crüe, Van Halen and Slipknot. At the end of October, the band started their first world tour since 2001.
