The Puma LaMelo Ball MB.01Golden Child is a limited-edition sneaker inspired by NBA star LaMelo Ball’s first sneaker with Puma. From the basketball player’s Rare Reserve Collection, this sneaker was once player-exclusive (PE).

The Golden Child iteration of the LaMelo Ball x Puma MB.01 features an upper of dusty gold monomesh with welded metallic gold overlays that lend both support and structure. An embroidered rocket ship flame design adorns the collar, a nod to Melo’s spaceship tattoo. Metallic TPU in gold covers the midsole composed of Puma NITROFOAM, designed for ultimate responsiveness and superior lightweight comfort. The outsole is made of a non-slip rubber compound patterned for impact absorption, enhanced durability, and multidirectional traction.

His signature wings grace the tongue and his motto "1 of 1" is printed on the medial side toe cap. The word RARE appears in orange beneath the translucent rubber of the outsole.
