This RARE Buffalo Pottery Deldare Tankard, stands 12" tall, and is signed and dated 1908.  It depicts "The Hunt Supper" from  "The Fallowfield Hunt" patern series.  It is a riotous scene with the huntsmen and dogs reenacting the day's hunt.  Signed by its decorator - M. Sned, it has a glossy finish. This unique tankard is part of the Deldare product line. Handmade with a printed backstamp, this vintage piece is ideal for all occasions and was produced during the American Colonial Revival era. Perfect for collectors of art pottery, this multicolor tankard captures the theme of a fox hunt in a humorous and artistic way.  This is my favorite piece in this line.
