With its long, extensive versions of classic golden earring songs (which last between 5 and 12 minutes), this album differs significantly from other live recordings from the band. It is also one of only three albums where the guitarist Eelco Gelling was a band member, which gives the band's sound a new dimension. This album also underlines the strong rhythm group of Golden Earring in lively songs such as "Mad Love's Comin '" and "Radar Love".

Live celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2022 and is therefore removed by the original master bands for the first time. This 2LP is available as 45th Anniversary Edition with 2000 individually numbered copies.
