1. Black plastic hairclip with grey mother-of-pearl panel. Dates from 50's or 60's

2. Large grosgrain bow with barette clip from 1980's - bought in Galeries Lafayette during Paris stay. The bow is made of double thickness ribbon which is wired inside so that it is very 3-dimensional.

Expensive item even in the late 1980's 

The ribbon is 5cm wide - the overall width of the bow 15cm
