February 17, 1776 - $2/3 Continental (Friedberg Catalog # CC-22 / Plate A) Fugio 13 Colonies designed by Benjamin Franklin with unusually long, flattened out Blue Thread Error partially in and out of the high rag content paper stock, erroneously described as a 'paper pull', which is present due to the bump created by the huge blue thread, as seen in the close up picture with backlighting.
This is the best example from a collection that specialized (and loved) these 'blue thread errors' ... to each their own. Signed by Cornelius Barnes (Militia man during the Revolution).
