A very old hand chased brass plate, probably Iran late 19 century.

This plate is really an unusual piece from the Islamic work of art.

It is ALL hand chased, with verses from the Quran ( Sourat Al Ikhlass ) and other names ( Hassan, Hussein, Aly ) and multiple other verses.

It is signed from the back by the artist name ( Mohamed Aly ).

The thickness of the brass is unusual, it is a small plate and weight 1.1 pounds ( 476 grams ), which reflects the age.

I cleaned all this plate and put coat on it to preserve it from oxidation.
