These reactive dyes are suitable for dyeing, printing, and painting on cotton, silk, and natural fibres. 

Procion MX Dyes are a popular choice for tie dyeing and ice dyeing, as they do not require any heat in the dye process. They are also ideal for batik work, as the cold dyeing process won't cause any damage to the wax. .

A wide range of colours can be achieved, from pastels through to dark shades, using the following as a guide.

Per 100g of fabric: 

0.1g-1g of dye - pastel shades

2g - 3g of dye - medium shades

6g+ of dye - heavy shades

You will need Soda Ash to fix this dye onto your fabric.
