Here's a marvelous ring with a simple yet stunning design. A large, oval, bright blue high dome turquoise stone is set on an oxidized (darkened) diamond-shaped base. Curled silver flat wire work provides a frame for the stone. The split shank is serrated on one side.

It is a size 9.

The shank is a little wider than 1/8".

The ring face is about 1" wide, 1  3/8" long, and 5/16" deep.

It weighs 11.4 g.

Given the design and construction of this ring, its maker was very likely Navajo; however, this piece is not stamped, which is typical of pieces of this age.
