This sweet salt and pepper set of Harker pottery, known as Harkerware, was crafted during the 1950s in East Liverpool, Ohio. The “Dainty Flower Blue” pattern in the Virginia style was produced in different shapes of S&P sets. This glossy pair has the Oval/Modern Age shape with white flowers on a baby blue background and stands 3 1/8" tall. The Cameoware design’s flowers appear to be carved out of the blue background. Harker started their Cameoware lines in the 1940s.
Condition is very good with no chips or cracks. There is crazing which is not distracting. The interiors and dispensing holes are clean. The cork stoppers are gone after crumbling when I removed to give the pair a thorough cleaning.
Thanks for looking.
