Beautiful matched pair of Chinese cloisonné birds on gilt feet, modeled with open beaks and multicolored featherwork over a turquoise ground. Symbolically, birds in Chinese decorative arts represent harmony, fidelity, and auspicious fortune.
Excellent overall; brilliant colors and clean surfaces with minor age-consistent wear and patina to the brass. No chips or losses observed. Please review all photos.
