Cord has disintegrated from age. Tuning mechanism is fragile, because of this we did not replace cord. We would have had to disassemble too much of the radio. It is a cool am radio. Case is in good condition. Not guaranteed to work but!!! I think the right person can handle it.

My research tells me; Philco transitone model 42-PT-3 tabletop am radio manufactured in 1942. Features oddly enough a plain wooden cabinet that has a photo finish applied. I would never have guessed this.
