The EFK-100XPB features the same forged carbon fiber used in luxury sports cars while the EFK-100YCD features a dial capturing the world of luxury sports cars constantly evolving for ever greater performance with distinctive EDIFICE styling. Forged carbon fiber is a composite material formed by hardening carbon fiber with resin under high temperature and pressure. Compared to metal it is lighter and more rigid making it a popular choice for sports cars demanding driving performance. Casio's first mechanical movement is featured at the heart of these watches incorporating an emotional drivetrain similar to that of a car. The movement can be viewed through the see-through caseback allowing you to enjoy the unique charm of mechanical movements. All EFK-100 series models are equipped with sapphire crystal.
