Antique - 15" Tall - Bohemian Czech Kralik Art Deco Glass 2 Piece Epergne Vase
These are Pre-Owned and in great condition. Has only 1 chip that is invisible as long as you are not looking for it (shown in pictures) which is incredible for a piece so old.
This is an immensely beautiful and extremely rare pair of Epergne vases. Unlike other Epergne in the market, this comes in a pair. These are simple and elegant and shows off the earlier glass in the history. The ruffled/ crimped edges further enhances the beauty of these. These are made of 2 pieces, a base and the top section which fits and sits on top of the base.
Based on my research, I came across only 1 of these vases that too not available for sale, in-fact used for research purposes. These are from the Kralik during the Art Deco era. The Kralik glassworks, full name Wilhelm Kralik Sohne, was originally founded by Josef Meyr in 1815, in Bohemia. The factory was originally called Adolfshutte. Each piece is blown of opaque white glass with a ribbon of green glass along the crimped rim. There's a pontil scar on the bottom of the base and a Czechoslovakia acid stamp on the base as well that is usually attributed to Kralik.
These measures approx.-
Base - 6.5" tall, 9 1/4" rim diameter & 4 1/4" base diameter.
Top section - 12" tall, 5 1/4" rim diameter.
Overall it is 15" tall and weighs 2.6 lb each.
Perfect addition for your home and can be placed on a console table or a dining table or anywhere else to enhance the beauty of that area. Must have if you like collectibles, rare & unique pieces from history which not everyone else has.
These may be shipped separately because of the size.
