The phantom prototype Arcee appears in the virtual revival “Missing Link” series, which imagines toys that might have existed in that era.
What if the unreleased Arcee had been released as a fully poseable figure? Designed from scratch, this figure recreates the size, texture, and nostalgia of the time as if it had been released back then.

In 1986, product development had advanced to the stage of a non-transforming styrofoam prototype, but it was never released. This product imagines, “What if development had continued back then?” while retaining the size and structure of 1986 toys, including some die-cast parts. A transformation mechanism has been newly implemented, along with articulated joints for posing and gimmicks depicted in the anime, creating the ideal Arcee toy.
The long-awaited missing piece for Transformers fans worldwide is finally here.

This product faithfully reproduces the early setting version colors of pink and orange from the original styrofoam prototype. The head design is also based on the early concept. While thoroughly pursuing the styling read from existing materials of the time, the joints are newly structured for modern articulation, allowing free posing.

As seen in anime scenes such as The Movie, a small laser gun is included, which can be mounted under the body or at the rear in vehicle mode. The robot body features the familiar “secret emblem” that reveals a faction symbol when warmed by touch.
Foil stickers designed in the retro style of the time are also included and can be applied as you like.
A joint hole for a separately sold stand is equipped on the back, allowing display in action poses.
The package illustration is newly drawn in a retro style, and a collectible card featuring the same illustration is included. Even the packaging and styrofoam tray are created as a faithful homage to the era, reviving the excitement of opening a Transformers toy in the 1980s.
