"Eagles Live" was the first live album of the Eagles in 1980. It consists of appearances from the "Hotel California" tour (1976) and the "The Long Run" tour (1980).

In 1980 the Eagles were faced with the band shortly before the band was dissolved, but they were contractually guilty to their record label. Although the company offered them $ 2 million for two new songs, the Eagles rejected. The only unpublished song is a version of "Seven Bridges Road", the song was a parade piece for the band's close-harmony singing, since the stanzas of the song A cappella are sung by Allen five members.
