Compaq iPAQ Folding Portable Keyboard 249711-001 Vintage Collector's Item in Very Good Condition.
Specifically designed for use with the Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC devices from the early 2000's.
Branding: The Compaq logo on the Closed Case indicates it's from the pre-HP era (Compaq was acquired by HP in 2002).
Connector: Inside the Keyboard at the hinge, there's a Connector Slot which is made to Dock a Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC.
Foldable design: This Keyboard was built to be ultra-portable & could fold up into a Compact Case that fits into a bag or even a large pocket.
Functionality: Once the iPAQ* was connected & the Keyboard opened, it allowed users to type efficiently, turning the PDA into a more practical mobile workstation. *iPAQ Pocket PC Device not included in with this pack.
These were popular amongst professionals who used PDAs for email, calendar & light document editing before Smartphones took over those roles.
