"Beckett" is an action thriller from 2021 under the direction of Ferdinando Cito Filomarino and produced by Luca Guadagnino, who previously worked on "Call Me by your name". The film tells the story of American tourist Beckett (John David Washington), who is on vacation in Greece. After a devastating car accident with his girlfriend April, he becomes the target of a search. He is forced to run his life and gets deeper and deeper into a dangerous network of conspiracies. Boyd Holbrook, Vicky Krieps and Alicia Vikander also play in Beckett.

The film music comes from Ryuichi Sakamoto-composer, electropop pioneer and synthesizer legend. For his work since the late 1970s, he was awarded an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Grammy and 2 Golden Globe Awards. Sakamoto's music has always radiated deep empathy. Whether he leads the cheeky pop of the Yellow Magic Orchestra, works with artists of the Cranial Ambient or has recently dealt with his own mortality, Sakamoto's music expresses the urgent wealth of life in a few elegant gestures.
