1970 Praktica PL Nova 1 SLR with Domiplan f/2.8 50mm lens. Near mint condition.

Year of production: 1967-72. This is a one-owner camera purchased in 1970.

Comes with: Original instruction manual, complete and in excellent condition.

Cosmetic condition (see photos and definitions): Near mint. Leatherette complete and unmarked. Satin chrome top plate in excellent condition. Black painted bands unmarked. Lens barrel near mint.

Cosmetic defects: None apparent.

Operational condition: Shutter fires on all settings and timing feels right. Rapid winder working correctly. Aperture and focus both smooth.  Back removes easily for film loading. Viewfinder clean. Self timer working well. Lens clean with just a few dust inclusions.

Operational defects: None apparent.

I check all lenses for fungus as best I can, but do not guarantee that any lens is entirely fungus free. I recommend having any lens professionally cleaned if you intend to use the camera. Due to the age of this camera it is being sold as seen without warranty.  

Cosmetic condition definitions:

Mint: As new in original box, may be unused

Near Mint:  Appears new on first inspection. May be one or two very minor defects

Excellent:  A well looked after camera showing some signs of use with just a few minor defects

VeryGood/Good: A well looked after camera, well used but with no major defects. May be some paint loss, a few leather scuffs, a small ding etc.

Fair: Some significant defects. May be some major paint loss, small areas of missing leather, damage to top plate, bellows damaged but usable, etc

Poor: Major damage, corrosion, missing parts, split bellows etc
