This wonderful 1980s ice bucket is made in the shape of a curling stone (think winter Olympics). Perfect for any home bar or cocktail cart and an ideal gift for any vintage lover. It could make a great prop for any TV, film or theatrical production set.
Marked on the handle with a big C and the words The House of Campbell and on the base it says Bourbon, Made in France. It is a marketing product advertising Clan Campbell Whisky and Karinskya Vodka, which are actually French products produced by the Pernod Ricard group for the market in France. Its a large ice bucket which would have been used for may years in a bar/tabac, probably somewhere local to me in central SW France.
The white plastic insulated interior is designed to store and serve ice. The ergonomic black lid with handle is also insulated and fits well to keep the ice from melting. Much larger than most ice buckets, this one will be great for a party or wedding even. Don't miss your chance to own this adorable vintage ice bucket, to charm your friends when celebrating that special occasion.
In VERY GOOD vintage condition but with several signs of its age and past commercial use. Though clean enough to store ice for drinks it does have some old stains on the white interior which I could not get out. There are also scuffs and dark marks on the rim where the lid sits and by the white rubber band around its middle. There is even a small melted spot on the top of the lid where it has suffered a cigarette burn. None of these marks are as bad as the photos make them look. Please see all photos and remember it is over 40 years old, pre-owned and pre-loved.
