Vol. 4 is the fourth studio album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, originally released in September 1972. It was the first Black Sabbath album not to be produced by Rodger Bain; Guitarist Tony Iommi took over production. It reached gold status in less than a month and became the band's fourth consecutive release to sell one million copies in the United States.

Filled with classics such as "Supernaut", "Changes" and "Snowblind", the record capitalized on the group's rising popularity and reached the top 10 of the album charts in the UK and the top 20 of the Billboard 200 in the US, en route to being certified platinum by the RIAA.
