This fantastic hand carved wooden window from Nuristan, Afghanistan is in good vintage condition. It features traditional Nuristan  carving and closes with a metal clasp. The size is approximately 24 inches high by 18 inches wide.  The depth is a little over 1 inch. It was purchased more than 30 years ago from an import shop in Minneapolis that sold Asian antiques. Nuristan is located in a remote part of Afghanistan is known for its tradition of woodcarving.  Please see photos to note the minor cracks that correspond with age. The clasp has a bit of rust due to age and there are some slight cracks in the wood. Thanks for viewing!
