✨Please also note the headliner is a rectangle, and you will need to cut it into the shape you need to fit your vehicle.
Installation Instructions:
✨Step 1:Remove the Old Headliner
- Take the existing headliner out of the vehicle.
✨Step 2:Prepare & Apply Glue
- Find a large, clean workspace. Lay the new headliner material face up on a table.
- Spray strong glue in a ~6-inch-wide strip down the middle of the headliner.
- Have a friend hold the material up above the headliner panel while you use the plastic paint guide to smooth the material onto the glue.
- After a few minutes, pull the material back to spray glue on the uncovered side. Repeat this spraying and smoothing process until the entire headliner surface is glued.
✨Step 3:Trim & Fold Edges
- Let the glue set overnight. Then, flip the headliner over.
- Cut slits in the fabric to make wrapping around the edges easier.
- Apply a bead of glue along the headliner’s edge, fold the fabric over, and press it down. Try to make the fabric conform closely to the edge.
✨Step 4:Cut Holes & Reinstall
- Cut holes in the fabric for parts like the dome light, sun visors, and retaining clips.
- Replace the headliner back into the car.
