On the front cover is an image of children working in a garden with a stake fence. They are students in the Bethel Grove School Garden Club. A Rosenwald Center.
Articles include “The Principal’s Sunday Evening Talk”; given at the chapel. “A Word to Club Women”; “Improvisation Called Mark of Negro’s Singing.” And more…

The paper is sufficiently thick that turning the pages does not risk tearing, if it is done carefully. I recommend a rounded dinner knife for separating the pages.

Condition: Condition is well above average. The paper is intact with clean staples, no rust. There is a center fold with a tear that measures a tidbit more than an inch from the right edge. There are some edge chips, two corners are bent over, but are there.
