This is, as far as we know, one of only two soundtrack releases for a Jerry Lewis movie, the other being The Geisha Boy, which is also available. This CD contains two Jerry classics - the complete score to Visit to a Small Planet, tailored for Jerry from a play by Gore Vidal (which originally starred Cyril Ritchard). One thing Jerry knew very well was how a great score always helped a movie and Leigh Harline's score for Planet is wonderful fun, especially its tuneful and memorable main title music. The CD also features the score for The Delicate Delinquent by jazz great, Buddy Bregman. A great two-fer - two scores on one CD in great sound from the original recordings housed in the Paramount vaults.
