Gentleman's highly unusual large golden brass (pale blonde) fancy link original Victorian pocket watch chain /Albert with stamped T bar and big chunky bolt ring.
C ~1890's.
Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'.
Measures; 33cm / 13" total length and weighs a heavy 26.9 grams.
Bright crisp highly unusual fancy brass curb links (measure; 6mm diameter) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully.
Secure big brass bolt ring to one end (operates correctly and measures 2cm diameter) which is ideal for a large Railway type or fusee pocket watch which usually has a 'fat' bow.
Original brass T bar to the other end (measures 3.9cm length) which is stamped to one side with the makers name; E.M.L. Co. PATENT (the Victorians loved their patents!)
Also has a short length of fancy curb link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.
Excellent clean and bright condition with just a tiny bit of very light overall wear/patina and little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new presentation box as shown and be very securely and safely packed.
