Pressed plastic and composition toy bazooka manufactured by Hillan Toy Company, complete with its original illustrated cardboard box. The bazooka is finished in green and black with molded grips and a sighting handle, designed to fire lightweight polyethylene shells (not present). The graphics on the box depict a soldier in action and boldly advertise the toy's safe play function.
Hillan Toy Company, active in Dayton, Ohio, produced a variety of mid-century toy weapons, capitalizing on the popularity of military themes in the postwar years. Their bazooka toys were marketed as harmless alternatives to cap guns and remain collectible examples of Cold War-era play culture.
Toy exhibits surface wear and handling marks; box shows creases, edge wear, and areas of tearing. No shells included.
