Antique early quilt piece
I am sure this is a piece from a larger quilt
1. early fabric, 1850s
2. completely hand stitched
3. cotton, no blends
4. new binding and new back
5. see light water stain on bottom
6. patches are good, not perfect, found two small tears in small paisley pieces
7. all over quilting
8. really wonderful early fabric
9. not sure but probably put together in the 1960s, based on info from previous owner
10. the pattern is modified "bear paw"
