Ramblin' Gamblin' Man is the first studio album by American rock band the Bob Seger System, released in 1969. The original title was Tales of Lucy Blue, hence the cover art. In the liner notes, Bob Seger says (sarcastically) he later realized Lucy Blue was "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", and so changed the title of the album. He then thanks "Doctor Fine" for this realization. (Doctor Fine being the person who made Seger change the album's name.)

FUN FACT: The original cover design for the album featured the nude figure from Botticelli's The Birth of Venus, but this too was changed for the final release.

The album made it to #62 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, and the title single hit #17 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart.

THIS COPY is a Jacksonville Reissue pressing from 1975 on the Capitol Records label (see Notes, below).

The vinyl has a noticeable (ugly) scratch in the second song on side two, but per a test listen, it only manifested itself as some slight crackle towards the very end of the song. The rest of the album played great, but because of this one bad boy, I am grading the vinyl as only Very Good [VG] - you may find it plays better.

The original cover has light ring wear, but overall is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition.

The original inner sleeve is plain white with square corners and a center label hole. There are no splits, but there are a couple of small rips. Overall, the inner sleeve is in Very Good [VG] or better condition.
