"Baldwin" Automatic Fly Reel Collection Auctions
I purchased a large collection of automatic fly fishing reels from a friend who inherited the collection from his late father and needed someone to sell them.
- Unless clearly stated, all reels are in working condition. The collection of reels I am selling have not been gone through and cleaned/maintained by myself. The reel may not function as it did when newly purchased decades ago but it has been tested and operates.
- YOU ARE BIDDING ON THE REEL AS-IS AND NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED UNLESS IT DOES NOT SPIN WHEN WOUND & RELEASED (UNLESS TITLE SAYS "Broken/Parts").
- If you receive the reel and it operates but is slightly slower than normal, I would recommend you disassemble the reel, degrease it and apply new grease. A VERY good youtube account named YoungMartin'sReels explains how to service & lubricate an abundance of vintage fishing reels. Please exhaust this resource before reaching out as I am not an expert on the topic.
