Overview: Up for sale is an absolute gem. This oil painting on canvas depicts a showgirl/burlesque dancer. It is titled "It's A Living," and was painted by Kathy Colman (1939-2023), a prolific and talented artist from Agoura Hills, California. I acquired this at an estate sale from the late artist's home. An absolutely fantastic piece. The detail is really stunning. I love the old world, Vegas feel of this piece. Colman's art is difficult to find. Painting is signed at lower right. It does not appear to be dated, but I would estimate that it dates to the 1990s or 2000s. Framed in a lovely light brown carved wood frame.
Condition: Painting is in excellent condition. Frame is in excellent condition, with minor scuffing.
Measurements: Painting measures 20 inches high x 16 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 25.5 inches high x 21.25 inches wide.
