This is a photo of the Cornish–Windsor Covered Bridge, one of the most famous and historically significant covered bridges in New England. Built in 1866, it is a two-span Town lattice truss bridge. At 449 feet long, it was once the longest covered bridge in the United States and is still one of the longest covered bridges in the world. It spans the Connecticut River, connecting Cornish, New Hampshire, and Windsor, Vermont.
