Circa 1880s broadside for B. A. Bamber's Dime Show - "Grand Stereoptical Dissolving Views" featuring Travels, Art, History, Astronomy, Fun, Electricity. 5th Annual Tour. Program featured The Planetarium, Natural Scenery, The Ill-Fated Ship, The Highland Lover's Courtship for Marriage, Statuary (from the Centennial Art Gallery), etc.

Dissolving views were a popular type of 19th century magic lantern show exhibiting the gradual transition from one projected image to another.

  • * CONDITION: Good+ to Very Good- with small loss at the upper left and lower right corner as shown. Small 1/4 inch tear at upper left edge. Small archival tape reinforcement on the reverse at the upper right corner.
