early 1800s antique hand made bent wood curled runner snow sled
1. marked Paris Mfg, So. Paris Me, original not reproduction
2. good condition, small problem, two nails holding the steel runners on popped through the drilled holes, still well attached
3. all original
4. this has not been tampered with,
5. very solid
6. original paint decoration
7. nothing broken
8. very sturdy
9. I have not cleaned this, right out of estate attic, still with cobwebs
10. I believe the small painted part is pine, the structure is all carved and bent oak
11. notice the nice metal supports underneath
12. really excellent early 19th c sled

2. flat part 28 x 8 x 1/2 in. thick
3. height to top of curled runner 11.5 in.
4. height to top of seat 7 in.
5. across the total width 11 in., across the runners 13.25 , runners are slightly splayed
