Obv. Lincoln bust facing right "ABRAHAM LINCOLN PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" -"Barber" under bust
Rev. Closed Wreath "MARCH 4, 1861 - APRIL 15,1875 / EMANCIPATION PROCLAIMED JAN. 1, 1863 / MEDAL SERIES OF THE U.S. MINT 
/ J. POLLOCK 1871 DIRECTOR"

Medal is round -  Size 45mm Weight 53.3 grams - Composition bronze. Plain edge.   
Mint records indicate a total mintage of 363 medals.

Small  hairline scratch beneath the neck 
Note: Purchased  1990 coin shop in Lake Worth, FL.
