This is an unpolished slab of black plume agate from the famous Woodward Ranch or neighboring ranch in the Alpine, TX area. I contains some beautiful black plumes (marcasite?) and some redish orange moss. The slab is about 55x60 mms and 7 to 9 mm thick. Very suitable for a great cabochon.
