The LaBella string company was the original supplier to the Steinberger Sound Corporation when Ned Steinberger was building his amazing Steinberger guitars and basses here in the USA. LaBella President Richard Cocco worked closely with Ned to develop the first calibrated double ball-end strings used for the Steinberger instruments.

Often imitated, but never equaled, these high-quality strings are manufactured right here in the USA. All of these bass strings are packaged using MAP technology (Modified Atmosphere Technology) which prevents tarnishing and ensures freshness.
