10 cm (4") 2-way component system for Mercedes-Benz

Sound connoisseurs know that the music system in new Mercedes vehicles often sounds rather modest, and you wish you had an upgrade. The VISION VXM loudspeakers were developed for exactly this case. Conventional standard loudspeakers do not fit in Mercedes vehicles. In the models in question, different 20 cm woofers with special installation dimensions are even required for the driver and passenger sides. To save weight, ESX manufactures the subwoofers in a lightweight ABS construction, with robust metal grilles at the front for protection. Like all VXM loudspeakers, they also have efficient and powerful neodymium magnets.

 

Since very linear reproduction is particularly important in the mid-range, very light glass fiber membranes are used in the 10 cm VXM models. The 2-way component VXM4.2C, equipped with separate tweeters, is recommended for the front doors, and the coaxial set VXM42 for the rear. Both have light silk domes for the best high-frequency reproduction. The center speaker VXM40F can be connected to the Mercedes SOS system thanks to the second voice coil.

 

We have always made sure that the installation of the components is easy. There is no need to cut any cables or remove any metal parts.
