If you have a Gen 1 MINI Cooper S this is by far the best high flow cold air intake to fit and make the most power any intake available.  This is the ONLY intake we install and recommend in our shop as we prefer it to the other alta, m7, K&N, and afe intakes.  

Why we think it's so good?  Well for one it fits exactly right.  This airbox replaces the top half of the stock MINI airbox and filter.  It also removes the plastic divider panel between the intake and windshield cowl.  By removing that the back of this DDMworks intake is open to the cowl to allow more cool air to the air filter.  The DDMworks airbox seals to the stock bottom half of the stock airbox with 2 rubber seals making a complete enclosed airbox so you can keep out the hot engine compartment air.  The box is made of lightweight aluminum so you won't have to worry about it rusting or corroding.  Then it includes a high flow DDM pre oiled air filter to allow more airflow to the engine, but still keep it clean.  The tube on the box that connects the air filter to the intake air hose is actually larger than the stock to improve airflow.  This comes with the red silicone hose to connect to it and secured with the included clamp.  

The best intake made for the Gen 1 MINI, and this black finish fools many people into thinking it's stock.
