This cable was removed from a 32 Amp EV Car Charger that had never been used. These are returned cables that are like new. They are guaranteed to be in perfect working order. The plug and cable are very good with no visible imperfections.
You will only need to remove your existing worn out charger power cable and replace it with this one. Start by making sure that the power to the charger is turned off at the circuit breaker. The cable comes with the J-1772 type plug which will fit most US cars. It will also work with Tesla type NACS receptacles when used with a commonly available adapter. Wires are all copper guarantying the best possible charge.
The wiring is simple. Attach the brown and blue 10 gauge wires to the 120v power legs of the charger in either order. Both are 120v. Attach the yellow/green cable to the ground terminal then attach the black proximity wire (18GA) to the same terminal as the original. It may help to take a picture of the original wiring before making the exchange.
Then re-assemble the charger cover in the reverse order that you started with originally. If you have any questions, contact us.
