This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE pen tray ( desk tray, vide poche ), signed by the French sculptor Sem Guenardeau.

Sem Charles Guenardeau ( 1866 -1930 ) French artist.

Totally in the Art Nouveau taste and period.

Excellent bronze casting, exceptional detail.

Depicting 5 birds , sitting next to each other, on leaves and berries background.

Oval form.

With 3 ladybug in different sizes.

Also signed at the back F. Barbedienne Fondeur Paris.
