DOMINICK CHURCH, CORNWALL On a Peal of Six Bells on Bank Holiday Monday August 7th 1899, the poster is not dated to the year, but it is definitely 1890s, as I have a number of similar posters for Cornish bell ringing matches, which all date to the 1890s, Monday 7th August fell on 1893 and 1899 in the 1890s, it’s most likely that this poster dates to 1899.  The poster was printed in Callington by J. Venning, which is only a few miles away.
