Amazing pair of handmade Western boots carefully handcrafted by Tony Lama artisans. These are historic boots custom made by Tony Lama in the late 1950s / early 1960s with low tops, custom hand stitching, and beautifully inlaid small scale alligator belly skin "plug" surrounded by more supple belly on the lower foot to complete the Algonquin style vamps. A pair of boots rarely reaches this age in this kind of condition. These are truly amazing. These boots are fully wearable and will last many more years if taken care of properly. The tags and collection where these originated date them to the latter half of the 1950s or early 1960s. These are clearly marked 495 in vintage sizing, making them a 9.5 D Mens boot. There are almost no noticeable flaws at all, which is incredibly rare; these were very well taken care of for being nearly 70 years old. If you look at the Tony Lama advertisements from the 1960s that are included for informational purposes, you see various colorways and toes on the 516 alligator model, which is marked in the uppers of this boot.

These are unique and vintage-guaranteed genuine calfskin boots with great vintage brown and black two-tone style, you will not find newly made boots with this level of craftsmanship for anywhere near these incredibly low prices, these are carefully handmade for style and comfort!
