This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE PAIR of hand carved wooden bookend.

Each carved from a single piece of wood, walnut wood.

Depicting 2 men, sitting on an armchair, in caricatures and funny forms.

Some areas are colored in black or dark walnut.

No signature detected, but I believe it is German .
