Surprisingly Nice Condition, Original Case, A.OTT Kempten

For sale is a complete and well-preserved OTT current meter set, manufactured by A. OTT of Kempten, Germany. This set is serial number 13531 and dated June 9, 1964, as shown on the original factory calibration sheet mounted inside the case lid.

This precision hydrological instrument is used to measure water velocity in open channels such as rivers and streams. It is intended for manual use with a wading rod (9 mm diameter), and includes multiple calibrated propellers for measuring different flow ranges.

Included in this set:

• OTT current meter sensor head, engraved “A. OTT KEMPTEN 13531”

• Three matching propellers:

  • Propeller “1” – for low-flow velocities (marked “1” and “13531”)

  • Propeller “3” – for high-flow velocities (marked “3” and “13531”)
