Description: A copper-plate engraved original antique road map. From the first edition of Taylor and Skinner's 'Maps of the Roads of Ireland', it is printed on both sides, it includes details of topography, notable residences and place names. The route passes through several settlements including:
Plate 79 - Castlebar, Newport
Plate 80 - Ballinamore, Dunmore

Provenance: 'Taylor and Skinner's Maps of the Roads of Ireland, Surveyed 1777. Published for the Authors as the Act directs 14th Novr 1778'. N.B. First edition.
Condition: Very good condition. Age toning. Age / handling marks, mainly to the margins. Please study all the images carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
