For sale is an adaptor for use with Sony MZ-R30 / MZ-R35 MiniDisc recorders.
It is a replacement for the LIP-12 battery, allowing you use an off-the-shelf replaceable cell.



3D printed in PLA plastic.
Comes fully assembled, all you need is a battery.
Comes with a lid that snaps into place, but is easily removable to replace the cell.


- Fits 14500 cells. Bigger and last much longer than 10440


- Fits cells with overcharge/undercharge protection (which are longer than cells without it)


Requires a 14500 3.7V Lithium-ion button top cell (not included).
These are available on eBay. Search for "14500 battery".
Don't get a "flat" top one which has two flat ends, these will not work. You need a "button" top one (one flat end, and a protruding part on the positive end)


I use a trustfire cell with a protection circuit built in (protects against under and over charging) which I bought on eBay.
