Very clean vinyl and labels. Sleeve has no ring wear, slight start of split in spine, no writing. Record is in excellent condition, no obvious signs of wear. Lovely copy! Supplied with new high-quality sleeve protector.

Notes :

All five movements of "The Birds" are based on works by earlier composers - the credit on the sleeve being given as "After", viz. "After Pasquini". "An H.M.V. recording, released for its members in Australia by World Record Club." Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. "QR.4240" on sleeve, "R-04240" on labels. There are [at least] three versions - one with a back & white cover, one with a pink cover and this one with a green cover - all have the pre-1979 "stereo" at bottom-left of labels (WRC were not consistent in updating the artowork on reissues), but the runouts indicate that this was the first to be issued.
