This is a plastic model of the Atlantis Model "1/72 US Air Force Sikorsky HH-3 Helicopter Jolly Green Giant (formerly Aurora)". The HH-3 is a long-range search and rescue helicopter developed by Sikorsky for the US Air Force. The US Air Force ordered Sikorsky's S-61R, which first flew in 1963, and gave it the name CH-3C. Later, the CH-3E, which was equipped with a more powerful engine, appeared. The HH-3 "Jolly Green Giant" is an aircraft with special equipment added to the CH-3E. Special equipment such as armor plates, self-sealing fuel tanks, in-flight refueling probes, jettisonable external fuel tanks, and high-speed hoists were added, and a total of eight aircraft were produced.
