Mithridates VI Eupator - King of Pontius: Warlord Games Hail Caesar

Give your Pontic force the ultimate authority on the tabletop! Mithridates VI ‘Eupator’ served as both primary protagonist and Rome’s most implacable foe during the eponymous Mithridatic Wars of 88-63 BC, during which he resisted Rome’s expansion into Asia and the Hellenistic world. A shrewd politician and excellent military leader, Mithridates aimed to unite his disparate neighbours to drive Roman interests back across the Adriatic. While he was ultimately unsuccessful, and died in exile, for over two decades he forged a series of coalitions and inflicted numerous defeats on Roman forces. Our miniature depicts Mithridates in warlike aspect, spear raised as he urges his forces into battle. He’s the perfect centrepiece for any Pontic force, and is certain to present a stiff challenge for any opponent to overcome. Full rules for fielding Mithridates in games of Hail Caesar can be found in the Rome’s Conquest of the East supplement. Sculpted by Tomas Axelsson. Studio miniature painted by Kirsten Williams. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted
